The Hybrid is the Wood Fired Hot Tub + The Electric in one, made to be used with wood fire, electricity, or both simultaneously for unmatched flexibility.
Formed by a marine grade aluminum foundation as a pre-assembled, lightweight unit that can be rolled off a truck, into a boat, along a dock and into place on any flat surface, the AlumiTubs signature design lends itself to unparalleled performance, function, longevity and good hygiene.
Finished with Canadian Western Red cedar seating and exterior cladding with stainless steel bands securing them in place for a pre-assembled, lightweight hot tub that's ready for soaking, all in an hour's work.
Its pre-installed marine grade aluminum firebox is submerged in water for unparalleled heating performance. Safe to touch under water, made safer thanks to its protective fencing that keeps bodies from coming into contact with its stainless steel chimney and spark arresting cap.
Equipped with a pre-assembled electric heating & filtration kit in 120v or 240v options, the Hybrid includes a hatched lid weather proof cedar enclosure customized to your ideal location on the tub. Note that the electric components can also be built into a custom weather-proof enclosure.
Canadian Western Red cedar seating is planed and pre-installed to perfectly accommodate a solo soaker or the whole family, and rough cut cedar cladding surrounds the exterior of the tub with three stainless steel bands, nuts and bolts securing them in place.
A drain sits on the wall or base of the tub to accommodate different drainage needs, with an optional Drain Kit available for emptying the tubs water at the touch of a valve, and leading it with a hose where you need it to go.
Waterproof batt insulation provides a third layer of 360 degree thermal protection for all-season use, even in the most extreme winter conditions. An additional layer is provided for floating on the water, beneath the cedar lid.
A thermometer comes in handy allowing you to check the temperature of the water so you know when it’s time to hop in or throw another log on the fire.
A wood and aluminum scoop allows for easy removal of ashes from the wood stove.

How to choose between the 120v and 240v options:
- The 120v option is designed to be heat by electricity for summer use during fire bans with year-round filtration, or dual wood fire + electric use during extreme winter conditions (electric heat will hold a max temp of 90f in subzero conditions without the help of wood fire). Requires a 13ft distance to an outdoor receptacle with a 15 amp dedicated circuit.
- The 240v (4.0 kw) option is designed for year round filtration and can be used exclusively by electricity, by wood fire, or by both simultaneously. Both fuel sources are built to perform independently without the help of the other even in extreme winter conditions. Requires a hardwired connection at the base of the tub with a 30 amp dedicated circuit.

WE LOVE OUR HOT TUB! It has increased airbnb bookings 10 fold! It's a huge hit. This beautiful aluminum tub is located at our Airbnb property @cabin_on_the_river in Narrowsburg, NY in the western Catskills/ upper Delaware valley. The hut tub is just steps to the ten mile river. We fill the hot tub thru a sub pump right from the river.
