Every AlumiTub is hand-built to order — just for you. Never mass-produced, always built for the long haul. Here's what's currently booking:

Wood Fired (Small / Standard) November 26
Electric / Hybrid (Small / Standard) December 24
Large tubs — all systems February 4

While your AlumiTub is being built, we'll provide you with everything to help you prepare your site, and once it arrives, it lands pre-assembled, ready to roll into place with about an hour of setup — no crane, no contractor, no delay. The build time is the wait. After that, it's yours for the long haul.

Canadian Orders

Orders within Canada receive free shipping nation-wide.

US Orders

Orders to the US currently enter duty-free. US customers benefit by approximately 30% in savings with the USD/CAD exchange rate and are exempt from state and local taxes.

AlumiTubs covers the majority of shipping throughout the US, with a $750 USD flat rate payable at checkout at the time of deposit. Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii may incur a fuel surcharge.

Customs clearance for US orders

Shipments into the United States require customs clearance, which means establishing you as the importer of record. This is standard for goods crossing the border and applies to every US shipment.

Trade policies between Canada and the U.S. continue to evolve. If any government changes affect your order before it ships, we'll contact you well in advance to explain any impact and discuss your options. Our goal is always a transparent, predictable purchasing experience.

International Orders

AlumiTubs are available to ship worldwide. Trade agreements eliminate duty in most countries.

Taxes, duties & delivery times by region

Orders to Australia, New Zealand, and Japan fall under the CPTPP free trade agreement. Australia has 10% GST, New Zealand has 15% GST, and Japan has a consumption tax of 10%.

Orders to the UK fall under the Canada-United Kingdom Trade Continuity Agreement and are subject to 20% VAT.

Orders to Europe fall under the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) free trade agreement and are not subject to customs duties. VAT varies from 17–27% depending on the country.

A statement of Canadian origin is provided with international shipments, and local taxes are collected before shipment.

Once shipped from Canada, orders to the UK and Europe arrive on average within 25–30 days. Orders to Australia, New Zealand, and Japan arrive on average within 55–60 days.

Order Process

To secure our next available production date, reserve your AlumiTub with a $500 CAD (~$360 USD) deposit on the Wood Fired, Hybrid, or Electric hot tub page.

Your deposit holds your place. It doesn't lock your build.

Up to 30 days before your ship date you can change your size, change your heating system, add or remove add-ons, adjust your depth, or change your delivery arrangements. There is no fee for any of it. Once your deposit is placed you'll get your own account, where add-ons, depth and delivery details can be updated yourself at your own pace. Changing your size, your system or your production slot is handled personally, so email us for those.

Your guaranteed shipment date will be confirmed and shown in your account once production scheduling assigns it, along with your pre-arrival guide and remaining balance. We'll send a reminder as your payment date approaches.

AlumiTubs are custom built to order from our Gibsons and Sechelt shops on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia. For questions related to production scheduling, email hi@alumitubs.com. Lead times vary by heating system and size.

This is why it's worth reserving before you've decided everything.

The deposit holds your production slot and your current freight pricing. The decisions can follow, and we'll help you make them. Tell us about your site, your climate, your water source, how many people will use it and how often, and whether power is coming later. We will tell you honestly what we would build for you, including when that is less than you were about to order.

Ship dates move out as slots fill, so waiting until every detail is settled usually costs you months rather than money.

The $500 CAD deposit is non-refundable, as it secures production of a custom build. It is not tied to one order: it can be applied to a future order with no expiry, moved to a different model or size, or transferred as a credit to a friend or family member. Full detail is in our refund policy.

Shipping Process

Your AlumiTub arrives built.

Most hot tubs ship flat-packed, because shipping one assembled costs several times more. Yours doesn't. We carry that cost so your first day with it is an hour of setup rather than a weekend of construction.

The AlumiTub ships to your property's nearest shipping depot by default, where the depot loads it straight into your truck or trailer by forklift. If you'd like your order delivered directly to your property, email hi@alumitubs.com for curbside delivery options. Only Small and Standard tubs can be shipped curbside.

Your tub travels crated on a pallet, pre-assembled. Bring a standard truck or trailer and a way to secure the load. No crane, contractor or special equipment is needed at either end, and once uncrated at your property the tub is light enough for two people to roll into place.

Size Crated shipping weight Uncrated tub weight
Small 204 kg / 450 lbs 90 kg / 200 lbs
Standard 250 kg / 551 lbs 100 kg / 220 lbs
Large 295 kg / 650 lbs 136 kg / 300 lbs
