Hand building Canadian made hot tubs since 2001, its enduring design has stood the test of time. Standing in a league of its own, the AlumiTub's backed by a 25 year warranty.  

We take pride in the quality of our workmanship, materials and hot tubs, and we build each one to provide a lifetime of enjoyment. When used in accordance with our recommendations for normal practice, AlumiTubs guarantee a structural leak-proof warranty for 25 years as well as warranty on all other replaceable components.

The warranty is introduced April, 2025 to celebrate our 25 year history, protecting against defects and failures from the date of delivery, covering failures in structure resulting from faulty workmanship or materials. This warranty is valid provided that the installation, use, and maintenance are carried out according to our normal practice recommendations. AlumiTubs warrants that its products will be free from defects in workmanship and materials, and that AlumiTubs will, in its discretion, make all necessary repairs to ensure its products remain in such condition for the period that follows:

25 year warranty

The marine grade aluminum structural lining / foundation of the AlumiTub and stainless steel parts including the chimney, chimney cap, and bands shall remain free of leaks and defects for the duration of this warranty.

Marine grade aluminum and stainless steel may develop a patina or other marks overtime as it interacts with the environment and varying minerals of found in water, which may leave mineral deposits or marks due to localized hard water, which is not considered a fault or flaw and will not compromise the quality or structure of the AlumiTub. 

15 year warranty

All Canadian Western red cedar components including seats, exterior cedar cladding, and the firebox fence shall not warp or degrade beyond reasonable wear for 15 years or longer.

Cedar exhibits natural variations in colors, grains, and textures as it interacts with the environment, which is part of its beauty and charm. It may develop splits and cracks which are not considered faults or flaws and will not compromise the construction of the AlumiTub. Note that cedar is a replaceable part that can be maintained to extend its lifespan and refreshed as needed.

10 year warranty

The Firebox shall remain free of defects with proper use. The firebox is a replaceable part.

Warping and or damage can only occur when the firebox is heated with insufficient water in the tub. The water level must remain 4 inches above the chimney collar at all times that the firebox is hot (allowing the firebox to cool before emptying the water below this line), and no other fuel sources, fire starters or pellets, wood with nails or staples, or rain water enter the firebox. Warranty shall be void in the even of improper use where the firebox is deemed to have been hot without an adequate water level in the tub. Customers with a defect covered by this warranty should contact hi@alumitubs.com by email with their claim. 

Warranty Limitations and Exceptions

Warranty only extends to the original purchaser and must be registered via Warranty Form at the time of delivery in order to be deemed valid. Any warranty of AlumiTubs covers only normal usage of its products in accordance with all product specifications and care instructions provided or implied to the customer by AlumiTubs upon purchase. No warranty, express or implied, applies to any condition of any product resulting from accident, acts of third persons, environmental conditions, misuse, abuse, delivery or transportation damage, nor any condition resulting from modifications or alterations by any person, incorrect or inadequate maintenance, cleaning or care, or damages or defects caused by improper use, including those of chemical treatments, cleaning products or protective coatings applied to the product. Any such use voids any warranties of AlumiTubs. 

Disclaimer

In no event shall AlumiTubs be responsible for consequential or incidental damages, such as loss of use and time, inconvenience, commercial loss or damage to personal property, whether indirect or direct, and whether arising in contract or tort. In no event shall AlumiTubs responsibility exceed the purchase price of the product or its replacement. 

Warranty Procedure

Customer’s sole remedy in the event of a product defect is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of the damaged part by AlumiTubs, which shall not extend the warranty period, and will only be provided upon receipt by AlumiTubs of a valid written explanation of the claimed defect from the original customer with a registered warranty from the time of purchase. Customers with a defect covered by this warranty should contact hi@alumitubs.com by email with their claim, and as always, are welcome to be in touch with questions about their AlumiTub at any time - warranty or not and we will always assist to the best of our ability.
