Meet Me At° Your Place

We don't gift hot tubs. We partner with the people who own them.

If your property is beautiful, your eye is good, and your AlumiTub is already in the ground — we'd like to pay you for what you make there.

Why we don't gift

We get asked often, and we'd rather answer it plainly than leave you guessing.

Every AlumiTub is handcrafted in Gibsons, British Columbia, in small weekly batches. Our production is capped, and every tub coming off the floor is already spoken for. Gifting one doesn't cost us a marketing budget line — it costs a customer their place in the queue.

So we built something better instead. Rather than a one-time trade, we pay our creator partners for each month of work they deliver, for as long as the partnership runs.

How it works

1. Order your AlumiTub

There's no partnership without an installed tub. This isn't a formality — it's the whole basis of the evaluation.

2. Tell us about your property

The short form takes a few minutes. It covers your location, your setup, what you're able to shoot, and how often.

3. Set it up, and send us photographs of it in place

We evaluate the tub in your space, in your light, in the season you're actually in. Renderings, plans, and photographs of the property without the tub don't tell us what we need to know — and honestly, they don't tell you either. Plenty of properties look different once the tub is sited.

4. We evaluate

Usually within a few weeks of installation. We look at the tub in place, the property around it, the content you've already made, and where it fits in what we're publishing.

5. If it's a fit, we build an offer around your capacity

Not a fixed contract you squeeze into. Monthly retainers work best, but we run project work and seasonal shoots too.

Seasonal & project work

Quoted per project

Winter is the hardest content in this category to get, and the most valuable. If a monthly cadence isn't realistic but you can deliver a memorable winter, first-snow, or shoulder-season shoot, we'd like to hear about it.

What a partnership can return

Our monthly rates are $900 for Tier One and $600 for Tier Two. A partnership sustained across a full year at Tier One returns $10,800 — more than the price of most AlumiTubs.

That figure is an illustration, not an entitlement. Partnerships run for a defined term and are renewed by agreement, not automatically. We've had partners run for years and others wrap after a single season, usually because the property, the seasons, or life changed. What we can tell you is that the rates above are the real rates we pay, not a best case — and that we'd rather pay someone properly, month after month, than hand over a tub once and hope.

What we look for

We're not counting followers. We've partnered with accounts of a few thousand and passed on much larger ones.

The property. Somewhere with a point of view — a lake, a treeline, an ocean, a ridge, a well-made house. Somewhere the tub belongs rather than sits.

The siting. How the tub sits in the space matters enormously, and it's the single thing we can't judge before installation. Deck, dock, clearing, hillside — the placement either makes the frame or it doesn't.

The eye. Composition, light, patience. We can teach the brand; we can't teach that.

The rhythm. Content that arrives when it's promised, in the season it was promised for.

The fit. Your audience and ours should overlap enough that the work reaches people who'd actually want a tub.

What we provide

  • Monthly creative direction and shot lists, so nothing starts from a blank page
  • Brand guidance — typography, tone, colour — if you want to caption or title your own work
  • Early access to new products and configurations
  • Credit and tagging on everything we publish
  • Payment within fifteen days of delivery, every month of the term

We deliberately leave most of the creative decisions with you. Content that looks like your property tends to outperform content that looks like our template.

Program terms

Installation required. No partnership is offered before a tub is installed and we've seen it in place. Photographs of the sited, filled tub are part of the evaluation, and there's no route around this step.

Term. Partnerships run for an initial three-month term. After that, they continue month to month by mutual agreement — they are not open-ended, and they don't renew automatically for a fixed period. Either of us can end the arrangement with thirty days' written notice.

Renewal. Continuing past the initial term is a decision both sides make, each time. We'll be direct about whether we're carrying on, and we ask the same in return.

Delivery. Content is due by the 25th of each month. We review within five business days and flag anything that needs a reshoot before payment.

Payment. Net fifteen days from accepted delivery. Payment obligations end with the term; no compensation is owed for months outside an active agreement.

Ownership and licence. You own everything you shoot. We receive a perpetual, worldwide licence to use the content we've paid for — including in paid advertising, on our website, in print, and in retail — and that licence survives the end of the partnership. You're free to post it anywhere you like.

People and property. You're responsible for having permission from anyone identifiable in your content, and for the right to shoot on the property.

Exclusivity. During the term, partners don't create paid content for competing hot tub, sauna, or cold plunge brands. Everything else in your life is your own.

Safety. Content should show the tub used the way the manual describes it — proper water level, lid secured when unattended, no children unsupervised, clean dry firewood only. We won't publish anything that models unsafe use, and we'd rather flag it early than after a shoot.

Selection. Partnerships are offered at our discretion after a tub is installed. Applying doesn't guarantee an offer, and the program isn't a condition, discount, rebate, or refund on any purchase. Nothing here forms part of a purchase agreement.

Apply

The form takes about five minutes. It asks what you're able to create and how often, so we can put together an offer that's realistic rather than aspirational.

If your tub isn't installed yet, apply anyway — we'll note your property and pick the conversation back up once it's in place and you've sent us photographs of it sited.

Questions we get

Do you ever gift tubs to creators?
No. Our production is capped and every tub is spoken for before it's built, so a gifted tub costs a paying customer their place in line. We'd rather pay you properly and repeatedly than once.

Can I apply before my tub is installed?
You can apply, and we'll keep your property on file. But no offer is made until the tub is set up and we've seen photographs of it in place. It's the part of the evaluation we can't do any other way.

Why does installation matter so much?
Because siting is most of it. The same tub on a dock, on a deck, or in a clearing produces completely different work, and we've been surprised in both directions often enough that we don't evaluate on plans anymore.

Is this an ongoing arrangement?
It runs for the agreed term and continues only by mutual agreement. Three months to start, month to month after that, thirty days' notice either way. Some partnerships have run for years; others were right for a season. Neither of us is locked in.

Do I need a large following?
No. The property and the quality of the work matter more. We've partnered with small accounts and declined large ones.

Do you cover the tub as part of the agreement?
No. Compensation is paid monthly for content delivered during an active term, which many partners use to offset the cost over time. It isn't a discount, a rebate, or a refund, and it isn't tied to the purchase.

What if I can't commit to every month?
Tier Three and seasonal project work exist for exactly that. A single strong winter shoot is worth more to us than twelve indifferent ones.

Do you work with partners outside Canada?
Yes. We ship to more than ten thousand properties worldwide and are always looking for locations outside British Columbia — particularly the US, the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
