Chosen for your property and how you use it

Every AlumiTub arrives complete and ready to soak. What it needs beyond that depends on where it sits, the climate it lives in and how you'll use your tub.

Lids and covers

Every AlumiTub arrives with 360 degrees of insulation and floating insulation on the water. A lid finishes that system: it holds the heat in and secures the tub while keeping leaves, rain and snow out between soaks.

The Cedar Lid

  • Wood Fired
  • Hybrid

Handcrafted tongue and groove cedar that sits over the floating insulation.

Choose it ifYou want the lid to match the cladding and weather alongside it.

From $500 CAD · about $360 USD

The Electric Cedar Lid

  • Electric

The same handcrafted cedar, with full 360 degree coverage.

Choose it ifYou have the Electric and want a cedar lid that matches the tub.

From $600 CAD · about $432 USD

The Fabric Lid

  • Wood Fired
  • Electric
  • Hybrid

Insulated, lockable and lightweight, with high density foam under a weather-shielded cover.

Choose it ifYou want the lightest lift with no lid lifter needed, or a lock for peace of mind around children.

From $600 CAD · about $432 USD

The Storage Cover

  • Wood Fired
  • Hybrid

A weatherproof cover that zips around the chimney and covers the whole tub.

Choose it ifYour tub sits outside between visits. It keeps rain out of the firebox, which protects your firebox warranty.

$350 CAD · about $252 USD

The Firebox Plate

  • Wood Fired
  • Hybrid

A marine grade aluminum cover for the firebox area behind the cedar fence.

Choose it ifYou want the heat held in and leaves and debris kept out of the firebox between fires.

$400 CAD · about $288 USD

Setting up

These depend on where your tub lands: a deck, a patio, a gravel pad or a rocky point. Some settings need them and some do not.

The Drain Kit

  • Wood Fired
  • Electric
  • Hybrid

Connects to the base of the tub so you can drain at the turn of a valve, through a garden hose. Every tub already has a drain valve.

Choose it ifYou want the water led somewhere else, like a garden bed or away from a deck or patio, at each water change.

$100 CAD · about $72 USD

The Bottom Band

  • Wood Fired
  • Electric
  • Hybrid

A stainless steel band that wraps the base and hides the rigid insulation beneath the tub, notched for the Drain Kit.

Choose it ifYour tub sits on top of a deck, patio or gravel, with the insulation in view. Skip it if the tub is recessed into a deck or the insulation sits below grade.

$200 CAD · about $144 USD

The Wood Fired Steps

  • Wood Fired

Cedar steps for getting in and out safely.

Choose it ifYou chose the Wood Fired without filtration. The Electric, the Hybrid and the Wood Fired with filtration already have steps, with the equipment housed inside.

$350 CAD · about $252 USD

How you soak

These come down to how often you are there and how you like to use it.

Wi-Fi Control

  • Electric
  • Hybrid

Temperature, heating and filtration schedules from your phone.

Choose it ifIt is a weekend property or rental and you want it warm when you arrive, or your power costs less at certain hours.

$300 CAD · about $216 USD

The Drink Tray

  • Wood Fired
  • Hybrid

A marine grade aluminum tray that rests on the cedar fence, lid on or off.

Choose it ifYou want a drink within reach, with a little more cover over the firebox while you soak.

$100 CAD · about $72 USD

Water care

Every tub needs a water care routine. This is the one we made for ours, and it works in any hot tub.

Good Clean Living

Start clean. Balance well. Treat only what you need.

A water care system designed around the AlumiTub, built on keeping water clean rather than correcting it once it isn't. Plant-derived and mineral based. One kit covers six months of full-time use on the Electric, and lasts much longer on an occasionally used Wood Fired.

$250 CAD · about $180 USD

Also chosen with your order

Not products, but choices that shape your tub. We help you settle them after your deposit.

Depth

38 inches is standard. 44 inches on any system, or 48 inches on the Electric, for $1,000 CAD, if you like to sit deeper.

Future ports

Free on the Wood Fired. Built in now, so electric heat or filtration can be added later without a retrofit.
