"Can’t tell you how excited I am right now. We had to get one for the cottage. The smell of cedar is in the air. Fun tub activated! It’s a pretty sweet set up. You’ve got the wood burning component and it heats up this box under here and there’s two holes that run through the box so the water that passes through gets super hot, it’s amazing. The hybrid component is pretty sweet, it fitlers the water and there you go. You can run heat from it to get it to temp faster or if you don’t want to light the fire and you just want to get it going, you can do that with the heater and it keeps it all fresh and clean for significantly longer.”

After a whole day of taking a large vat of water from 42 degrees F to 110 degrees F with mans simplest tools, it's a good feeling to be sitting and smelling the cedar burn and soothing some aches and pains away accompanied by the sound of the creek and of course this time of year, the frog chorus!
We've had our tub 4 or 5 years and absolutely love it. On a remote site in Northern Manitoba.
We absolutely LOVE our tub. It gets used pretty much every weekend at Thetis island, except when there is a complete fire ban. I try to stain the cover ever year, and the sides every other year.

10/10. It is wonderful! It took just over 4 hours from unloading it to have it all setup and filled with water. On weekends, it's pretty much in use every night.

Low-bank waterfront access affords the use of saltwater to fill it. It's like a hot mineral bath, I highly recommend getting one of these!
We didn’t really think that two little pieces of wood would heat it back up to temp after sitting all night and day, but holy, did it! We had to add some cold water. Looking forward to hanging out and enjoying some star gazing.

We installed our tub by the ocean on a remote island 1 year ago. Seems this island has as many alumitubs as personal sawmills. We found a soak in the tub before bed to be absolute heaven. My husband even discovered that he could use the fire of the tub to cook smokies for dinner!
