  1. ISN'T THE ALUMINUM TOO COLD OR HOT TO TOUCH?

                Actually no. The aluminum is the same temperature as the water.

  1. WHERE IS THE FIREBOX?

                The firebox is set inside the tub so it can heat up the tub very quickly.

  1. CAN YOU BURN YOURSELF BY TOUCHING THE STOVE UNDERWATER?

The stove is not too hot under the water and the fence is more for looks rather than protection

  1. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SET THE TUB UP?

As long as it takes you to go and get your hose to fill it. The tub comes pre-assembled. It takes about 20 minutes to place and secure the cedar on the outside, which is not necessary for structural integrity,

  1. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO HEAT IT?

3-5 hours depending on the temperature of the water you are using. Once it has been heated up, it holds the temperature fairly well as it is insulated so it generally takes 3-5 days before the water cools off completely.

  1. WHAT DOES IT COME WITH?

                Everything you need to use the tub including:

  • Planed cedar seating

  • Protective rough cedar fencing surrounding the wood stove

  • Styrofoam rigid insulation to lay on top of the water

  • Insulation to wrap around the exterior of the tub, fits underneath the cladding

  • Rough cut cedar 1" x 4" boards for exterior cladding

  • Three 1 1/2" stainless steel bands to hold the cedar cladding around the tub

  • Thermometer

  • Scoop for removing ashes from the wood stove

  • Stainless Steel Chimney (extremely long life)

  • Drain - must be requested

  1. HOW DO WE REMOVE THE ASHES?

A scoop is provided with your purchase of the tub that is angled at 90 to allow for removal of the ashes.

  1. WHERE IS THE DRAIN?

The drain is located on the bottom of the tub, underneath the firebox.
